Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music and storytelling with award-winning singer-songwriter Marcia Howard and her Homemade Jam band, featuring special guest Damian Howard, on Sunday, May 18th, at The Door Gallery Fyansford, Geelong, from 2:00 pm.Marcia’s connection to Geelong dates back to the late '70s when her brother Shane Howard and the Goanna Band rehearsed at the Paper Mills. She moved to Geelong in 2017 and has since performed and recorded live at The Door Gallery Cafe during the Covid-19 lockdowns. Known for her work with Goanna, Marcia advocates for social justice, Indigenous rights, and environmental protection through music blending folk, rock, and Celtic influences.
Marcia will be joined by her Homemade Jam band, including her brother Damian Howard, an award-winning songwriter from The Ploughboys, her son Liam Gubbins on bass, and Michael Davis on drums. This intimate performance offers a rare chance to experience their music up close. Get your tickets today!
