Please join us at the Gender Centre to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility with a talk and discussion on the history of trans lived experience in Australia with speakers Dr Jess Hooley and Professor Emerita Raewyn Connell. The evening will also include the official launch of Briana Shorten’s research into the Gender Centre’s Family Program. Some light refreshments and snacks will be provided.Trans Lives: Past and Present – talk and discussion on the history of trans lived experience in Australia with speakers, Dr Jess Hooley and Professor Emerita, Raewyn Connell.
Official launch of Briana Shorten’s research into the Gender Centre’s Family Program – Briana will present her research into the Gender Centre’s Family Program and its findings.
Please note this event is 16+, anyone under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
