Day One: Dive into essential theory and hands-on activities designed to help you create rock-crunching hooves.Topics include:
∙Hoof anatomy
∙Recognising healthy vs. unhealthy hooves
∙Creating a sound barefoot horse
∙Laminitis and other pathologies
∙Hoof trimming demonstration ∙Hands-on activities
Day Two: Informative and practical Trimming Day. Bring your horse for
assessment and trimming, and try your hand at trimming under close supervision (limit of 6 horses only). Or, watch and learn as other horses are trimmed.
Day Two also features a talk on training methods by Richard van Dijk.
Also featuring Freeform Treeless Saddles for viewing and discussion.
Morning tea supplied but please bring lunch both days.
