Neuro-Spicy Eaters

About
Neurodivergent (Neuro-spicy for a bit more fun) is a term that describes individuals whose brains function in ways that diverge from what is considered 'typical' or 'neurotypical'. It includes individuals with conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and other cognitive differences. Being neurodivergent can affect how a person thinks, learns, processes information and interacts with the world. It is important to recognise that the relationship with food can be significantly different for neurodivergent individuals. These individuals may experience heightened or diminished sensory sensitivities that can lead to strong preferences or aversions to certain food textures, smells and tastes.
Come along to this free interactive workshop with Annette to learn more about sensory sensitivities, executive functioning, emotional regulation and routine and structure when it comes to neuro-spicy eaters, and how you can implement strategies to make life easier for a neuro-spicy family.
