Did your sex-ed leave a lot to be desired? Sexologists and researchers Giselle Woodley (PhD Candidate at ECU and co-founder of Bloom Ed – a relationships and sexuality education advocacy group) and educator Jordina Quain (Curtin’s Relationships and Sexuality Education Project) discuss concepts, research findings and phenomena relating to consent, pornography, sex and relationships, taking a deep dive into these issues beyond the norms conceived in classrooms, public discourse and wider society. Challenging and exploring some of the mainstream narratives and messaging of the sex-ed you might have received or seen online, this is intended to be a space for real talk.Date
