Hoops are provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Corrugated Iron is proud to present Darwin’s very first Tippy Lyra masterclass by NICA Graduate Merlene Hutt! 

Tippy Lyra 101 is an introduction into this exciting lesser-known aerial apparatus Tippy Lyra—a dynamic aerial hoop that spins and tilts 360 degrees. Learn unique tricks and techniques while building strength and creativity. No experience is required, though some aerial background can be helpful.

Drop It Like It’s Hot  - Aerial Masterclass by Merlene Hutt 

EXPERIENCED AERIALISTS! Are you ready to take your tricks and routines to the next level? 

Join NICA graduate Merlene Hutt for a high energy aerial silks masterclass. Drop It Like It’s Hot is jam packed with thrilling drops, tricks, and techniques, including the Junkyard Crotch Crusher (aka Hip Lock Slack Drop) and even more! 

Participant Requirements: 

• Previous aerial experience (Beginner and Come & Try classes do not count) 

• Strong grip strength (Can you hang from the silks with just your hands?) 

• Confidence in getting into a hip lock in the air (Most drops in this class start from a hip lock! If you don’t know what that is, this class isn’t for you.) 

We recommend wearing full-length or ¾-length leggings and tight-fitting t-shirts/long sleeve tops, for comfort and protection against friction from the apparatus.
