About
This Easter School Holidays, teens in Years 9-12 are invited to get Party Ready! Drunk goggles, stayin alive and the recovery position will all come together in a fun-filled yet first aid minded program from the experts at St John Ambulance.In 1 interactive day young people will get to know the first aid skills to help their mates. From CPR to overdose, Party Ready gives teens the know-how to respond with confidence. They will walk away with a certificate of participation & showbag with fun merchandise & resources for further reading.
Topics include:
• Drink spiking & binge drinking
• Drugs & their effects
• First Aid action plan: DRSABCD (practical activities: placing each other in the recovery position, CPR practice on manikins, Defibrillator practice)
• Calling 000 & what might happen
• Mental health conditions & psychological first aid
Places are strictly limited, book now to avoid disappointment.
