Find Your Focus Zone - Sensory Workshop

About
At The Social Confidence Collective, we are all about supporting young people to feel more confident and connected with others. As Occupational Therapists, we know this can be tricky when we are not feeling regulated, we're distracted or stressed out. This workshop provides a space for young people aged 14 -25 to learn more about sensory processing and how they can use sensory strategies to help with regulation.
We will:
- Learn about how our bodies and brains process information from the sensory world around us
- Explore our own sensory preferences and needs.
- Try out a range of sensory equipment moving through different sensory stations.
- Start your own sensory toolkit to take with you.
Fee includes materials, Power Point presentations, video materials, in session OT support and a show bag to take away. Fees may be able to be claimed via NDIS plans
