

ANCA Vic-Tas invites you to hone your conducting skills at a choral conducting masterclass with guest clinician Dr Christopher Kiver.
Intermediate to advanced conductors are encouraged to conduct in the masterclass. A range of set works will be available soon for conductors to choose from.
Conductors and observers are also encouraged to sing in the Masterclass Choir to observe Dr Kiver and the conductors at work.
This is a great opportunity to reflect on and improve your conducting practice, learning from an experienced international conductor.

Dr Christopher Kiver is a sought-after clinician, frequently guest-conducting and adjudicating in China, Australia, New Zealand, and across the USA for ACDA and NAfME. His expertise includes conducting and vocal pedagogy, changing voices, music ministry, programming, recruitment, score study, rehearsal methodology and choral advocacy. Currently a Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Pennsylvania State University, Dr Kiver is a double Grammy Award winner and a recipient of the World Choral Symposium Foundation Scholarship and the PSU President’s Award.
