About
Take part in a unique eco-printing workshop set in the beautifully manicured gardens of Ivy Leaf Chapel. Surrounded by nature you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind silk scarf printed with leaves gathered from the garden itself.This hands-on workshop will be led by Kay Gray from Make-It Tenterfield, whose lifelong love of plants naturally evolved into a passion for eco and botanical printing.
What You’ll Experience:
* Learn the basics of eco-printing using locally sourced leaves to create stunning natural prints
* Experiment with printing on both paper and silk, taking home your own unique creations.
* Enjoy a delicious light brunch with bubbles or coffee while your prints develop, with time to discuss different fabrics, papers and dyeing techniques.
* Wander through the gardens and connect with Kim, the garden’s owner, for expert gardening tips and inspiration.
All materials are provided and no prior experience is needed.
