Join the WA LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy - Consultation for Staff in Higher Education, hosted by ECU and the Department of Communities. Facilitated by Professor Braden Hill (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students, Equity, Indigenous, ECU) and Dr Misty Farquhar (CEO, Rainbow Futures WA), this session invites all higher education staff—academic and professional—from any WA institution to share their insights, challenges, and priorities for the Strategy.This is a space to discuss the unique perspectives of staff working in higher education and connect with LGBTIQA+ colleagues and allies. The consultation is open to all staff, including those who identify as LGBTIQA+ and allies.
A networking lunch will follow. The venue is mobility-aid accessible, with a quieter breakout room available. If you need accommodations such as an Auslan interpreter or assistive tech, please let us know in advance.
