Rotary - Canberra Sundowners Birthing Kits Packing 2025
About
Join our celebration of Rotary’s Epic Day of Service on 17th May to help pack 3000 birthing kits for use by pregnant women in rural communities and low-resource settings around the world.Each kit contains key items to assist a birth in a remote area without access to hospitals, making a very positive impact on mortality rates for mothers and children. The birthing kits are shipped by the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia to regions in need of this type of support and have been proven to save the lives of both mothers and new-borns.
We are running three packing shifts on 17th May with a morning and two shorter afternoon shifts. We have capacity for about 60 people per shift.
