Our societal culture has changed in the last few years and the awareness of mental health issues has become more prominent. As teachers and community members it is helpful to be able to recognise how impactful events can affect us, our students and those around us and their emotional wellbeing and resilience.
In the light of Sw. Sivananda's directive of serve, love and give the SYTA committee has created an opportunity for members to complete a Community focused Mental Health First Aid training in a yogic environment. This MHFA Australia Course will be offered at Rocklyn Ashram and facilitated by Irene Ais, who is herself a yoga teacher.
This MHFA training is available to all but with a very generous discount for SYTA members.
