Roly Sussex is an Australian linguist. He is the Emeritus Professor of Applied Language Studies at the School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies of the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Sussex hosts a talkback program on language and linguistics on ABC Radio in Queensland for the last 28 years and writes a weekly column, "wordlimit", for The Courier-Mail. Sussex will appear at the Redlands Sporting Club for one night only to discuss how vulnerable is our digital world and at the completion of the show will take questions from the Audience.Date
