After a smashing summer concert featuring Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5, Australasian Orchestra's (AO's) wonderful 2025 winter concert is comprised of Johannes Brahms's superb Symphony No. 1, Gioachino Rossini's beloved William Tell Overture, Australian composer Misha Machlak's beatiful work entitled FG (Fog), & Cécile Chaminade's picturesque Concertino for flute & orchestra, with Sophie Weston as flute soloist.Bookings are advised.
- The event has unallocated seating. The auditorium's doors open at 1.30pm.
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION:
- The auditorium (incl. foyer) is street level accessible via sloped ground access (the auditorium’s 1st row of seats is on the same level).
- 10 seats are automatically reserved in the bottom 2 rows of the seating bank for people with accessibility needs.
- Best auditorium wheelchair access is via the stage door (due to the audience’s main auditorium door’s narrow width). To assist with stage door access, kindly inform ticket desk staff upon arrival.
