It's a wound that never fully heals.
For many, the impact of mother loss goes far beyond the sadness. It's more than grief. Research shows that it can have a profound and lifelong impact with many experiencing anxiety, depression, and isolation, as well as the adoption of maladaptive coping strategies. Yet, despite the number of women affected by this loss, the resources and support available remain scarce.
