Join established writer and poet Lia Hills at an Introduction to Poetry Write ‘n’ Sip.Regardless of whether you dream of being a poet, are curious about the art of poetry, or simply want a night out with lovers of writing and literature, the workshop will give you an overview of the styles, techniques and features of poetry.
By the end of the evening you will have written your first poem, for sharing and discussion should you wish, while having a glass of bubbles, a few nibbles and a lot of fun along the way.
Lia’s poetry has been published and translated around the world in a variety of journals and anthologies. She has performed her poetry both in Australia and overseas, including commissioned works for La Mama and TarraWarra Museum of Art.
