A regular, private event on the first Saturday afternoon of every month at Bard's Apothecary in the CBD.Kind of like an open mic night, although more structured. The chance for our wonderful little creative community to come together regularly and, if desired, grab some stage time for ... pretty much whatever you like.
A monologue/duologue, a song, a story, mini TED talk or maybe just the sharing of an idea for feedback or to promote something upcoming. Stories can be personal, deep, funny, weird or just factual. Could be a random thing you saw on the street that day. Anything goes.
Initially I'll be trialling different ticketing options - some which are observing only (i.e. no stage time) and a limited number of various allotments of stage time such as 2 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins.
Prices will be low to cover venue costs and if demand is there, prices may decrease in future. Bard's is small though, so capacity is limited to about 35.
