School Mathematics Competition 2025
The competition has been in existence since 1972. It is wholly organised and run by staff member of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Melbourne. The competition is of a demanding standard, designed to identify real mathematical talent.
Junior Division - Years 7 and 8 sit a two-hour exam (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
Intermediate Division - Years 9 and 10 sit a three-hour exam (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Senior Division - Years 11 and 12 sit a three-hour exam (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Competition Date: 07/05/2025 Wednesday
Due for registration: 02/05/2025 Friday 7:00 PM
Cost: $15 per student per ticket
