ANZSPD AND ASO DENTAL CONFERENCE
DESCRIPTION
ANZSPD (Victorian Branch) and ASO (Victorian Branch) are excited to bring to you a full day scientific program with a range of topics from optimal dental and orthodontic care of special needs children, early interceptive orthodontics, developmental anomalies and water fluoridation.
We are lucky to be joined by paediatric dentist A/Prof Mihiri Silva, and orthodontists Prof Marie Cornelis and Dr Sarah Roath, as well as A/Prof Matt Hopcraft. A/Prof Mihiri Silva will present on “Optimal dental and orthodontic care for Autistic children and young people”. Prof Marie Cornelis will share her experience and knowledge on early interceptive orthodontics. Dr Sarah Roah will present on 'Ankylosis of primary molars: Aetiology, Diagnosis and Management'. A/Prof Matt Hopcraft will present on water fluoridation and expore the navigation of ethics, the effectiveness and its harms and benefits.
