Medusa Is A Modern Woman - Seedpod Ballarat
‘Medusa is a Modern Woman’ is a new work in progress by Seedpod Ballarat artist Izzy Roberts-Orr, where Medusa is reimagined as a contemporary figure—and she’s asking you to help her remember.
Through her Seedpod residency, Izzy seeks to reclaim Medusa’s voice and explore how myth and memory shape survival through gathering, looping and rearranging of poetic patterns.
Medusa Is A Modern Woman's creation and presentations are taking place on the lands of the Djaara and Wadawurrung people. We pay our deep respects to Elders past and present and their living culture.
