A rare opportunity to book a room at Glenella for the weekend and join fellow trail runners. Perfect timing to get in some mountain training runs before the UTA. 

Glenella offers a range of rooms at varying rates - from heritage style rooms with ensuites to basic twin rooms with shared bathroom faciliites. You will have access to all Glenella facilities - self-catering kitchen, dining area, living spaces, fireplace.  Plus easy access to great running trails in Blackheath.  And don't forget there are numerous cafe's just up the road. 

Whether you're a running group or coming solo, you'll be welcomed.  Partners and support teams also welcomed! 

Rowan and Margaret have been lured into trail running and will also be running the UTA in May- Rowan the UTA50 and Margaret the UTA22 (first timer!).  We'll be on hand over the weekend to recommend our favourite trails, and we may even join you for a run or two!

The booking is for 2 nights,  Friday + Saturday nights.  No single night stays. 

Check-in Friday 2pm

Check-out Sunday 2pm

ROOMS

Glenella has 15 bedrooms - a mix of queens, singles, twins and one quad room.  8 bedrooms are ensuite, the others share bathroom facilities down the hall. 

All beds are supplied with electric blankets, sheets, doonas and pillows.  The bed linen is provided by a hotel linen service so are of professional quality.  Extra blankets are supplied in each room.

 

FACILITIES

Glenella is a large heritage style house which comfortably accommodates 30 guests.  Facilities include a giant kitchen to prepare your own meals, dining area with seating for 30, spacious living areas, a fireplace, private rear garden, laundry facilities, BBQ, wi-fi.
