The Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 restricts the gifts or donations that political parties can receive from foreign donors. It includes the restriction on receiving gifts/donations of $100 or more from a foreign donor, written affirmation that the donor is not foreign for gifts/donations of $1,000 to $16,900 (2024-2025 financial year disclosure threshold), and other appropriate information required if over the disclosure threshold. Please refer to the AEC website for more detailed information. Donors and political parties must disclose if gifts/donations exceed $16,900. No public funds have been used in the production of these materials or for this event. All funds raised go towards Federal ALP Campaigns.Date
