The latest work by Ashkan Khatibi, a renowned artist in Iranian cinema and theater, is a deeply personal play that serves as a semi-autobiographical reflection. While it tells the artist’s own story, it also captures the experiences of thousands who have endured the harsh realities of censorship and oppression.The prestigious publisher Baldini & Castoldi published "Lui" in Italy in Persian and Italian. Teatro Franco Parenti produced the play in Milan, where it enjoyed a highly successful seven-night run and enthusiastic acclaim from audiences.
This compelling performance will be performed in Sydney, Australia, for the first time.
