About
The Anstead Bushland Reserve has few easy tracks that are mostly flat. There is a lookout to the Brisbane River and an information board with interesting history of the area (old Sugars Quarry).The walk takes about 1.5 hours to complete. It is very popular for birding, horse riding and walking.
Date: Sat 3rd May 2025 @ 6:50am at a meeting point in The Gap (To be advised via email through Trybooking).
We drive away @ 7am towards the Anstead Reserve Park via Gap Creek Road (arrive approx. @ 7:30am).
Length: ±4 km | Elevation gain: 65 m | Route type: circuit
Carpooling: $2.00 in cash (Drivers/Volunteers needed)
Estimated time walking: 1.5 hours + morning tea @ The Reserve Anstead.
