Join us for an unforgettable night at the Moama Bowling Club, as we bring together two remarkable Australians for a special fundraiser in support of the Cameron Baird Foundation and the Mathoura Football Netball Club. Our guest of honour Doug Baird OAM will share the inspiring and emotional story of his son, Cameron Baird VC MG, who was tragically killed in action while serving in Afghanistan. Cameron was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for his extraordinary bravery—the highest military honour in Australia.Hosted by Kevin Sheedy, one of the most respected figures in Australian football. Kevin will reflect on his celebrated AFL career and his time serving in the military, offering unique insights and stories from both fields.
Proceeds from the night will support the ongoing work of the Cameron Baird Foundation and help fund resources for the Mathoura Football Netball Club.
