Filmed over the course of five Years, Writing Hawa follows three generations of Hazara women as they fight for their dreams against current geopolitical forces. Hawa’s daughter, filmmaker Najiba Noori, shows how true will for life and creativity can survive through the most difficult conditions, creating a peaceful but powerful form of resistance.
