This seminar is for students aged 13 and above of all levels and experience. Please note there are two ticket prices for AFTK members and non-members. You do not need to be an individual member, if your dojo is an AFTK member that means you get the member price. The AFTK aims to make events affordable and accessible.

This seminar will be held face-to-face only. All events, including instructor development sessions, are open regardless of affiliation or membership. 

Early Bird (until 13 Jun): Members $50 or $25 per session | Non-Members $90 or $45 per session
Standard (from 14 Jun): Members $60 or $30 per session | Non-Members $100 or $50 per session

• Session 1 Karate: 9:30am - 11:00am - Techniques using the human centreline  (John Carlyle)

• Session 2 Karate: 11:00am to 12:30pm - Attack and counter partner drills (Travis Foss & Dean McKernan)

• Lunch Break - 12:30 - 1:00pm - Light Lunch Provided for participants registered for Sessions 2 and 3. Please note bookings after 5:00pm Thursday 19 Jun will not include lunch

• Session 3 Kobudo/Weapons: 1:00pm to 2:30pm - Bo basics and partner drills (Indishe Senanayake) Participants bring your own Bo if possible, some will be available to borrow
