East London's Gary Buckle, better known as Gazza, has always been a bit of an “honest thief”—if such a thing exists. After a lifetime of small-time crimes and brief stints at Her Majesty’s pleasure, Gazza finds himself broke yet again, but this time with a twist: he owes £35,000 for his grandmother’s care home fees. Desperate and with the clock ticking, he searches for a way to raise the money. During a visit to the care home, Gazza overhears a conversation between an elderly Jamaican woman and her grandson, sparking a wild plan. Soon, Gazza embarks on an outrageous journey across London and Jamaica, with just 21 days to master the art of “being Jamaican” and pull off the heist of a lifetime—while staying one step ahead of danger. Gazza must learn to be Jamaican... or die trying.
