McLaren Vale AgTech Producer Group: Irrigation trial year 1
During Vintage 2025, the McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism Association (MVGWTA), in collaboration with PIRSA and Wine Australia, conducted an applied irrigation trial at Stump Hill Vineyard. The trial compared five distinct irrigation management strategies under the pressures of an exceptionally dry growing season
The findings from the McLaren Vale AgTech Producer Group’s irrigation trial will be presented at the upcoming workshop, where the influence of each irrigation regime on yield, grape composition, and vine performance will be discussed in detail.
As part of our workshop program, we are honoured to welcome Minister Clare Scriven, Minister for Primary Industries, Regional Development and Forest Industries, who will officially open the McLaren Vale AgTech Demonstration Site.
