The Writing Workshop is Australia's leading creative writing workshop for young people, having inspired and educated over 80,000 school-aged people in creative writing. Our students have won many major writing competitions, achieved brilliant academic results, grown in confidence, found their individual voices as writers, and hugely enjoyed themselves across hundreds of workshops.

Our two self-paced online creative writing workshops are available for young people anywhere in the world. Follow a series of engaging writing tasks, receive individual feedback from published authors, and create remarkable works.
Face-to-face workshops
We also offer school holiday workshops every holidays in Bicentennial Park (Sydney Olympic Park).
During NSW school term, our after-school workshops take place in Annandale, Marsfield, Eastwood, and Russell Lea.
