This one-day course is accredited by the Australian Resuscitation Council and provides participants with the skills and knowledge to manage the patient in an immediate crisis.
Utilising core lectures and interactive workshops content includes —
• Recognition, assessment & management of the critically ill patient using the structured ABCDE approach
• Airway management skills
• Basic life support and cardiac arrest management
• Defibrillation skills
• Working as an effective team member
