Baby Bird Care for Wildlife Rehabilitators
Birds make up 80% of the admissions at Kanyana and many of these are babies. This session is aimed primarily at wildlife rehabilitators and provides information on recognition of different species, developmental stages, rescue of baby birds and determining when human intervention is required. It also covers the practices and procedures followed at Kanyana for the successful care and rehabilitation of our baby bird patients.
This course is suitable for all wildlife carers looking to learn more about baby bird care. It is of particular relevance to Kanyana volunteers who wish to enhance their knowledge. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
