Kimbriki Eco House & Garden Tour 2023
Kimbriki Eco House & Garden welcomes visits by local community groups, gardening clubs, social clubs and other groups.
Typically, the excursion incorporates a close look at the Eco House & Garden and covers the following topics:
-What is Ecology?
-How you can make a difference and live more sustainably.
-An introduction to the basics of organic gardening/composting and worm farming.
-How your garden can keep you and your family healthy.
-The tasting of edible flowers and herbal tea.
-An overview of all Kimbriki’s Eco House & Garden workshops offered.
-A site tour (using your bus) to learn more about where your garden waste goes, and other items collected onsite
Light snacks and hot beverages will be provided.
The site is accessible for individuals to visit and the EcoGarden is always open when Kimbriki is open – access through the back gate beside the EcoHouse. However the bus on the day may not be wheelchair accessible so please let us know if you require assistance.
