About
Geocaching Victoria Inc, in association with Destination Rutherglen will be hosting a geocaching MEGA Event in Rutherglen over the Easter weekend in April 2023.Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile phone and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.
A Mega Event is an organised gathering for a large number of geocachers (more than 300 teams) to participate in a variety of fun activities. They attract geocachers from all states and territories of Australia and from overseas.
