Camp Information
Hills District Scouts are invited to join our Hills District Scout Camp on 18th-20th November at the beachside Glenrock Activity Centre.
The camp will be run as a Patrol-based friendly competition camp.
There will be awards for various elements and a perpetual trophy awarded for the overall winner.
2nd Baulkham Hills are the current reigning champions. Can your Patrol beat them?
Patrols need to source and supply their own meals for the weekend and must invite a 'Celebrity Judge' (Leader) for dinner on Saturday night.
Either gas or campfire can be used for cooking, and Saturday dinner will be part of the cooking competition.

Awards and Patrol Points:
This camp will be a friendly competition camp. Points will be awarded for various activities and achievements.

- 200 - Camp layout, management and construction

Transport:
Each Patrol should coordinate their own transport to Glenrock Scout Camp

Packing Lists:
Pack for a 2 night standing camp with swimming.

Optional items:
- $5-$10 for Maccas snack
- A dress-up or theme for your patrol
Equipment:
- Each Patrol must supply all of their own equipment including tents, shelters, lighting, cooking & utensils.
- Each Patrol must be self sufficient, however you may share some larger equipment (bbq, burner, etc) with other Patrols.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Youth:
- Scouts will sleep in tents organised by each Patrol.
- Patrol tents, Hike tents or Bivvy's may be used as preferred.
- Male & Female will sleep seperately.
Adults:
- Leaders should supply their own tents and sleeping gear.
Meals & Dining:
Friday: Please eat dinner before arriving at your hall or nag your driver for Maccas on the way.
Camping:
- Each Patrol to purchase food and supplies for the weekend.

You also need to invite a Leader from another Troop to join you for Saturday dinner.
- Patrols need to source and supply their own meals for the weekend.
- Scouts will prepare and cook their own meals as a Patrol.
(Leader meals, other than Sat night, will be catered separately)
Activities:
Scouts will participate in a wide range of activities that may include: Swimming, Canoeing, Slip'n'slide, Rafting, Ultimate Frisbee, bushwalking, observation tasks, pioneering, construction & potato relocation or destruction.
