Significant Trees Tour: January to May 2023
Join local arboriculturalist, Andrew Robert-Tissot, on this Significant Trees Tour. Learn the history behind the plantings of our most established trees, walk amongst Australia’s oldest oak avenue and visit the many ceremonial plantings along the way. The historic Government House garden covers approximately 15ha, our mature trees tower over the landscape providing shelter to the gardens below, are a haven for birdlife and provide stunning colours throughout the year.
Tour duration is approximately one (1) hour.
There will be the opportunity to purchase exclusive gifts from the Government House gift shop at the end of the tour.
Date/time: 10.30 am on selected dates between January to May 2023.
Photography is encouraged. Parking will be available on site. Please drive through the main gates and follow the directions of staff.

Dress: Neat casual with enclosed shoes and appropriate wet weather gear.
Cost: Adult $30.00 (incl GST); Child (5-15) $10.00 (incl GST); Pensioner/Senior $20.00 (incl GST); Infant (0-4) free (Please note that a TryBooking processing fee will also be applied upon checkout.)
All revenue from the tour program is directed to the maintenance and preservation of the Government House Estate.
