Australian Cell Cycle, DNA repair and Telomere Meeting 2023
WHAT: ACCM2023 will be held at the Melbourne Museum, and bring together researchers interested in how the cell cycle, DNA damage repair and telomere maintenance control cell fate. There is growing recognition of the role these three processes play in development, aging, cancer initiation, and more recently cancer therapy.
The meeting is for scientists and students who work on cell cycle, DNA repair and/or telomeres. Everyone has a chance to present their work through poster presentation, while oral presentations will be awarded to selected abstracts.
Key meeting topics: cancer mutation signatures, genome stability in disease, ALT pathway, new therapies, senescence, DNA damage and immune response, telomere biology.
Organising committee: Andrew Deans (chair, SVI), Liz Caldon (Garvan), Wayne Crismani (SVI), Shom Goel (Peter Mac), Mathew Jones (UQ), Hilda Pickett (CMRI), Elaine Sanij (SVI), Claire Scott (WEHI), Vi Wickramahasinghe (Peter Mac), Lee Wong (Monash).
