Inclusive OT (www.inclusiveot.com.au) & MPW Care are proud to present another CPD event for OT’s. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the workshop, talk to a qualified trades team, as well as handle and inspect a range of grabrails, handrails and other popular home mods products/ materials used by home mods installers.This unique event has been designed by an experienced home mods OT/ educator, to include HANDS ON practical workstations & a recorded webinar 'Barriers to Home Modifications- an OT perspective'.
The practical workstations will be designed to help OT's with.:
* Use of measuring tools in home mods (tape measure, digital measure, apps)
* Measuring, sketching & scripting for grabrails (toilet, bath, shower)
* Measuring, sketching & scripting for handrails (steps & stairs)
* Measuring, sketching & scripting & design for ramps
* Gaining an overview of bidet assessment & prescription
* Professional presentation of home mods diagrams using standardised
