The Crucible
About
A witch hunt is beginning in Salem. The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, tells the story of a village that becomes embroiled in a witch hunt. The people of Salem live in a constant state of fear as more and more people are accused of witchcraft. Set in a strictly religious and isolated town, the story develops around the witch trials and explores hypocrisy, suspicion, and mass hysteria of the local community. The Crucible examines the fragile nature of truth with each character balancing their own needs and desires.
