Duo Viva

Featuring Miranda Adams (violin) and Tatiana Lanchtchikova (piano/accordion), Duo Vivo formed in 2003 and immediately found popularity through their CD Jealousy, tango music. Their programme provides a colourful contrast of classical, tango, and gypsy music, plus a NZ composition written for them by John Elmsly.

Fellowship Ensemble

A group of young musicians on the cusp of professional careers are selected by audition to form an ensemble at the 2025 Adam Summer School for Chamber Music. The yet-to-be-named ensemble will receive professional development from Chamber Music New Zealand and the New Zealand String Quartet that will encompass both artistic and administrative mentoring, including programme development, marketing and fundraising.

The John Rae Trio
