"Ties that Bind" is set in modern Day NZ - written and directed by Hilary Rodley. Roles for actors aged from approx late 20's - 70's. On stage 19-27 July. Rehearsals begin 28th May.
Something traumatic happened to Patricia years ago which has made her unable to leave her house. She relies on her daughter Carol who still lives at home, with a quiet and never-ending routine of gardening, cooking and puzzles.
Next door, Lauren is also still living at home, making tiktok videos and driving her mother mad. Robert feels stuck in the middle between his wife and daughter and he’s just about had enough. Will anyone ever leave?
