About
Skylark draws on the rich traditions of cabaret and circus, to present a fun night of singing, dancing, comedy, live music, aerials and contortion. It will feature over 20 local and international performers, including aerial and contortion artist Genia Colling who worked for Russia’s Moscow Circus; actors Blaise Barham and Brent Caldwell from SBZ Productions; singer Sophie Mccarlie and cabaret band One + One; musical director and pianist Samuel Leaper; and a host of talented performers from Dunedin's own Brophy Aerials.The large historic venue at Erricks provides the perfect atmosphere and structure for multiple aerial acts as well as stunning contortion routines set to live music. From the moment you walk in the door, you will be surrounded by dazzling performers ready to take you on a spellbinding journey.
Skylark will take place for two nights only so people are advised to book early. This is an all ages show with refreshments and food available throughout the evening.
