“Things I Know To Be True” is an Australian play by critically acclaimed playwright Andrew Bovell. Set in a suburban home and garden in a working class suburb of Adelaide, the play charts the life of the Price family over the course of a year. The Price family is made up of Bob, a retired auto factory worker, his wife Fran, a nurse and their four adult children, Pip, Mark, Ben and Rosie. Over the course of the play, each of the Price children hits a point of emotional rupture with their parents. Entire life paths are questioned and each family member must come to terms with their relationships with the people they love. The issues are real, things which happen in every family and are dealt with, with sensitivity, humour and compassion.Location
