The Great Kiwi Beer Engine Showdown

This is the inaugural Great Kiwi Beer Engine Showdown, set to be an annual beer competition to showcase the best Real Ales served via beer engines in New Zealand and engage beer enthusiasts in a fun and interactive event. It's a celebration of both traditional Real Ale and any spin the breweries choose to put on it - the only stipulations are that it’s served at the correct temperature (between 11°C and 13°C) and is dispensed through a beer engine (also known as a hand pull).The judging format is People's Choice, and tickets will include a sample of each competition beer entry. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste and rate the beers served via beer engines. The beer with the highest rating at the end of the competition will be declared the winner. The champion brewery will receive a very cool trophy imported from the UK!
