Prior to attending this course, RSD Membership is required & can be obtained here

This 1-day course is for novice route setters and experienced climbers who want to develop and refine best practice while route setting on roped walls and bouldering walls.

The pre-requisite for attending this course is to either :

1) Attend an in-person one-day Setting Basics course 

OR

2) Complete a half-day online Impact Setting Route Setting Essentials course. This can be booked here (using the code LEARN2SET will give you a 20% Arrampica discount): 

You will need to provide your certificate for this pre-requisite before confirmation of your booking for the Setting In Practice course is accepted.

Upon successfully completing the course the candidate will be issued with the RSD Setting In Practice certificate. This certificate is valid for three years unless further qualifications are attained.

The course consists of both training and assessment.

This course includes all necessary equipment for the course.
