This is an introduction / discussion aimed at already qualified and experienced foresters with a working knowledge of forest systems and terminology.
The webinar is a precursor to a site visit in on the 23rd April 2024 at Coombs Wood in the Eden Valley (https://www.trybooking.com/uk/DDFQ). We will cover the theory, policy and practicalities of Continuous Cover Forestry and have time for questions.

- Grow your understanding of the theory and principles of managing uneven aged stands
- Grow you understanding of the economic, social and biodiversity benefits of CCF
- Grow your understanding of the practical operations in CCF
- Grow your understanding of policy and grant incentives, particularly how CCF relates to upcoming Countryside Stewardship woodland supplements
