TWO BARDS AND A SONGBIRD - vocal workshop with Jessa Liversidge and Alice Marra - music inspired by Robert Burns, William Shakespeare, and Michael MarraAll voices are welcome to take part in this session with York-based singer and singing leader Jessa Liversidge and Dundee musician Alice Marra. Jessa leads several choirs in the York area and is known for her encouraging and inclusive approach as well as her intergenerational work.
Enjoy working on your voices through songs inspired by Shakespeare and Burns - from folk tunes to musical theatre - and as a bonus, you will work with Alice Marra on two of Michael Marra's best loved songs. Two bards becomes three bards!
All participants are then welcome to stay on and enjoy the evening performance of Two Bards and a Songbird - where they will get the chance to perform what they have learned in the workshop, as part of the evening show.
Participants are invited to bring a plate of food to share for a tea between workshop and show.
