River dipping: Rainforest Discovery Day (SOLD OUT)
Discover the underwater creatures that lurk beneath the surface of a Dartmoor stream. Using our nets and trays we’ll try to catch mysterious mayflies, curious caddisflies or even a nymph or two and identify them using our keys and id sheets.
We’ll be paddling in the edges of the stream so wellies will be ideal
This family friendly activity will suit ages 5-1. Meet at Middle Trendlebere Car Park, East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve with a short walk down to the nearby stream. It will cover approximately 1/2 mile
Places are limited so please book.
This event is part of the Rainforest Discovery Day and is organised by Dartmoor National Park Authority and Natural England
