Neil Griffiths was a Primary School headteacher for 13 years before becoming director of a National Literacy Project for the Basic Skills Agency. This agency supported Neil’s highly original Storysack® idea which he then promoted in schools and communities throughout the UK. After six years, Neil set up what is now a worldwide, highly acclaimed, and award-winning phenomenon.This event includes two workshops: the first for parents to learn from Neil how to read to children and grab their attention; the second will be with children, seeing how Neil’s ideas work in practice. Both sessions will show how we can improve literacy in a fun and interesting way. Time with Neil is an experience you will never forget!
